Meet Jared Marsh. Jared is nine years old. He was diagnosed December 20th, 2006 with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Since the time he was diagnosed, Jared has already spent a lot of time at Children's Hospital of Michigan at the Detroit Medical Center. He has undergone multiple surgeries for biopsies and has had an intestinal tumor removed.

Jared's catastrophic diagnosis forced his 3 siblings, Lexie, 16, Josh, 13, and Noah, 2, to live with friends and relatives in the area. Meanwhile, the parents stayed at the Ronald McDonald House in Detroit that serves the Children's Hospital of Michigan while Jared was being treated.

In recent days, Jim Nelson, the family's karate coach, provided them use of his 4-bedroom Swartz Creek home while he stays with a friend nearby. The move allowed everyone, including Jared, to be together before treatments resume.

Bringing Jared home to Fenton between chemotherapy treatments is our goal; we want to reunite his family back home! The problem is that before that can happen, the Marsh's home is in dire need of repair.
